Experience
Mr. Lopez is a senior attorney in the firm and devotes a substantial portion of his practice counseling in the areas of corporate, limited liability companies and general business law, with emphasis on small and family business enterprises, not-for-profit and religious organizations, professional practices, health care law, and the purchase and sale of business and professional organizations.
Affiliations
Mr. Lopez has been listed in the New Hampshire section of The Best Lawyers in America under Corporate Law since its inception. He is a member of the Nashua, New Hampshire and American Bar Associations. He co-chaired a special committee of the state bar association which created the first comprehensive revision and modernization of the state's business corporations laws. He served as a member of the New Hampshire Supreme Court Professional Conduct Committee from 1992 to 1995. Mr. Lopez also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for nine years and chaired its board for a two-year term. He is also counsel to, and a former Trustee and President of the American Baptist Churches of Vermont and New Hampshire. He is former director of the Greater Nashua United Way and served for many years on its Community Investments Committee. He was a long-time member of the Nashua Rotary Club, and a past president and a Paul Harris Fellow. Attorney Lopez is a member of the Nashua, New Hampshire and American (Member, Section on Business Law) Bar Associations as well as a Fellow of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation.
