The New Hampshire Department of Transportation’s below link provides a 2-page helpful summary of those rules at:  https://www.nh.gov/dot/programs/bikeped/documents/nhdot_bike_safety_brochure_bw.pdf

For example, did you know that bicyclists: (a) must wear one item of reflective apparel appraisal from ½ hour after sunset to ½ hour before sunrise; (b) cannot ride on sidewalks; (c) cannot ride the wrong way on a one-way street; (d) must stop for all signs; (e) cannot cross a stop line when the traffic signal is red; and (f) if under the age of 16 must wear a helmet?  Before you and/or child gets onto a bike, it makes sense to take 5 minutes to review the easy-to-read 2-page summary of the bike safety laws not only to comply with the law, but also to keep everyone safe on the roads.
